AiM MyChron5 GPS Dash Logger for karting

The AiM MyChron5 has a graphical display, which can show the rpm, speed, lap times, gear and temperature. Furthermore several display pages are free configurable and can be chosen over the metal buttons. For the illumination various colors can be chosen and the brightness is controlled over a light sensor.

Over the integrated GPS Module the speed can be shown on the display and later with further GPS channels, e.g. driven line, acceleration…. be analyzed on the PC. Over a rechargeable lithium battery, which can also be replaced, the MyChron5 can be used up to 10 hours without charging.

MyChron5 has two configurable RGB alarm-LEDs and 10 also free and depending on the selected gear configurable RGB shift-lights.

Special features AiM MyChron5


Housing The nylon housing lets your AiM MyChron5 look like new even after years and is not as delicate as one out of aluminum.	Software \| RaceStudio3 With RaceStudio3 the MyChron5 can be configured and the recorded data can be downloaded and analyzed.	Extendable Over the internal AiM CAN bus the MyChron5 can be at any time be extended, with for example Lambda, SmartyCamHD, MX Expansion,...	Connectors With the AiM MyChron5 we use the connector series 711 and 719. These connectors are very robust and reliable.

Alarm lights The two RGB alarm lights can be a set to either light up, flash slow or fast when reaching min. –or max.- value.	Shift-lights The 5 RGB shift-lights can either set for each gear or for all gears the same. For each LED an own color can be chosen.	Display On the graphical display various pages can be configured and indicated. The background illumination color is freely adjustable.	Handling The four metal buttons of the MyChron 5 enable an easy handling of the device. These can also be operated with gloves without any problems.

2 Temperatures On the AiM MyChron5 2T it is possible to connect a second temperature sensor over the Y-connection cable.	Data Recall Over the data recall you can see the most important measuring values directly after the run on the display.	GPS Module The GPS Module has been already built in with the AiM MyChron5. This eliminates the so far cable laying.	WiFi Connection Over WiFi it is possible to make a radio link between the PC and the MyChron5.
